In 2019, we set ourselves a challenge: to create a plant-based butter that could truly match the flavor, texture, and performance of traditional dairy butter. Together with a pastry chef and a food scientist, we began developing a product designed not only for professional pastry use but also for a more sustainable future.

 

 

It was an ambitious journey

to craft a butter made not from milk, but from knowledge, innovation, and respect for the planet. After months of research, trials, and fine-tuning, we finally reached the perfect formula and brought it to life through industrial production. That’s how Be Better My Friend was born: a 100% vegan, plant-based butter capable of delivering the same excellence and pleasure as the best dairy butters.

Matilda became the face of a playful yet powerful awareness campaign,

inviting chefs and pastry professionals to discover the potential of plant-based products (starting, of course, with ours)Through her humor and charm, Matilda spread the message in a creative, fun, and surprisingly effective way. In just a few months, she became the talk of the pastry world — chefs smiled when she arrived, took selfies with her, and joined her in rethinking their craft.
